Patricia Lee Rode became a Pet Loss and Grief Counselor after the sudden and traumatic passing away of her German Shepherd, Sonny. This experience led her to want to help others go through the process of the loss of a beloved pet. Patricia provides counseling with compassion, expertise and knowledge of the grieving process. She knows the bond between ourselves and our beloved pets is profound, and when we lose this companionship, it can be devastating. Patricia will be able to help guide you through the grieving process with love and understanding.
Patricia has been a volunteer adoption coordinator for over ten years for Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary, and involved in German Shepherd Rescue.
Patricia is also a speech language pathologist helping families with communication skills for their children and loved ones for over twenty-five years. She is a professional holding a BA in art and psychology, and an MA in Communication Disorders from New York University.
